Richard Waite began his career in photography in 1981 having studied at Bournemouth College of Art and then assisting several photographers in London.
Throughout the eighties and nineties Richard was commissioned by the Sunday Times, Observer, Independent and Telegraph magazines on many diverse assignments about Art and Artists, Architecture, Interiors, Landscape and portraits. As a result Richard was able to confidently take on major commissions that demanded the experience of a cross section of disciplines.
Through his work for Conde Nast Traveller and House and Garden Magazine Richard is now sought after for his Destination and Interiors photography by leading Hotel groups Architects and Interior Designers.
Richards’s passion and enthusiasm for landscape photography has resulted in recent major commissions from BP Oil and Terra Firma Capital Partners that both have large scale Installations of his work at their offices. Richards fine art photography is available to purchase as part of limited editions.
